Popular science articles/interviews/blogs

I really enjoy writing outside the often rigid constraints of the scientific literature. I also like being able to write things that my parents will understand! Below are links to some of the things I have done with ANU’s media team, as well as some articles from a science column I used to write for in the Canberra Times.

Read a blog post I wrote for the Journal of Biogeography about our feature article, “Life in the Dead Heart of Australia” HERE

Here me talk about how much I love my job as an evolutionary biologist HERE

Here’s a link to an Australian Geographic article that highlights our research on frill-necked lizards HERE

We named a new species of African flat lizard after David Attenborough which the media loved, and he did too HERE

And another piece by the media team here at The ANU HERE

I was interviewed on the ABC radio show Fuzzy Logic in 2009 HERE

I was profiled for ANU’s ScienceWise magazine in 2009 HERE and HERE

Showcasing our science on a recent Bushblitz species discovery field trip.
